There was also an expression I couldn't find the right translation since I don't even know what it's supposed to mean in Spanish: "estancias de servicio". If Ximo has written that I might get in touch with him in order to understand what he means by that.

I have rendered "habitaciónes" as bedrooms rather than just "rooms" and "estancia de servicios" as "services" - did Ximo mean areas which served as washing areas and toilets in the 1860's (?)
